Watching Wild Dolphins
Dolphin is the one of the marine mammals which has highly intelligence; it belongs to the family of Toothed Whales that includes Orchas and pilot whales. Dolphins have varies in coloration, but most of them are generally gray with darker back. Dolphins are incredibly social animals. They live in groups and cooperate with each other to get food and in raising offspring (calves).
If you are interested in watching the Dolphins jump and dance just in front of you, Lovina beach will be the one and only beach in Bali which deserves this activity. This beach is located in the north of Bali island. It belongs to Kalibukbuk village, Buleleng regency of Bali. The Activity starts when you go inside of the sea by local traditional boat, it takes just 10 minutes to get the right position. The boat captain will show it for you. This actration is only done early in the morning from 6 am until 9 am then they will disappear. If you stay in Kuta, Nusa Dua, Seminyak or Sanur, We have to start driving around 03.00 am. And if you stay in Ubud, We can start in at 04.00 am, will be wort it.
As you start going by the boat, the beautiful sunrise will welcome you from the back of hill, rising up slowly. You do not to wait so long to find the Dolphins; they will straightly jump around your boat, So do not forget to carry your mobile or camera to hunt the pictures of these beautiful mammals. The sea will be a lot of dolphins. It seems that you want to swim with them, they are so cute.
If you have finished you time with the Dolphins, the other activity that you can do is snorkeling. Lovina beach has some points to do it. Just ask the boat captain to accompany to the best one. If you do not carry your google or snorkle, they can rent it for you. Next, on the way back to your hotel, you can visit Gitgit waterfall, Twin Lake and Ulundanu Temple in Beratan lake.
